London

I forgot to mention that when I was in Iceland I ate some Minke Whale! I'm not sure how I feel about eating whales since many of them are becoming endangered but I had a little sample anyways. Everyone that tried it loved it..me on the other hand thought it was pretty good, similar to beef steak in consistency but it was a little seawater tasting and not being the biggest lover of seafood I wouldn't necessarily order it again.

Anyways, since yesterday Amanda and I have been in London. I made quite the entrance setting off an alarm by accident the second we stepped into the airport by opening a door :). Last year I was in London for two weeks so I've been trying to just do whatever Amanda has wanted to do. The first day we visited Top Shop and went to my favorite shwarma restaurant Diwan near Bond Street station and had an amazing falafel wrap and tabbouleh. We also quickly stopped by the parliment buildings and saw a drunk man yelling at these teenagers to get out of the country, so we watched the interaction he had with the police for a few minutes. We then quickly popped by Harrods but by this time we were exhausted after the long flight and day so had to get home quickly. I will have to stop by tomorrow to get some of my favourite raspberry cheesecake.

Today we went to Camden Market, which was super packed with tourists but was still fun to browse most of the day. I wanted to go to Shoreditch after because it's my favourite market I've been to in London so far, but the overground station was closed once we got there and I forgot how to reach it by underground so we just decided to head to Green Park and rent some bikes.
This is my favorite graffiti piece or whatever it is that I've ever seen in London near the Camden Market, I think I'm just biased though and really just like how it says Canada on it.

We walked through Green Park and Amanda and I stumbled upon a pug convention! We don't really know if it was a convention but that's what we called it because there was a huge group of people gathered and as we approached them we saw there were about 30 pugs all running around playing together. Amanda was in heaven.

We ventured over to Buckinham then rented some bikes and rode through Hyde Park to Kensington Palace.

We ended the night with some fish and chips at a place near one of my best friend KK's house.

I probably won't post that much from London since I was here so long last year I haven't really been taking that many pictures and just enjoying the experience more.
