Healthy Black Bean dip
In need of a quick, healthy, easy , and most of all tasty dip recipe? This is for you! This black bean dip is so easy and simple to whip up, it's great for a snack, a party, or would be great to use on a sandwich, pita or wrap!
Ingredients:
1 cup black beans (boiled or canned)
Handful of fresh cilantro
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon (roughly) of an onion
Juice of 1/2 - 1 whole lime - depending on your tastes
1 hot pepper - optional
Olive oil- add this until you reach the consistency you desire
Salt and pepper - to your desired taste
Directions:
Throw all ingredients (except olive oil, salt and pepper) into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add olive oil, salt and pepper to reach desired consistency and taste. Serve with tortillas or veggies for a snack, or use it the same way you would hummus in you pitas, sandwiches and wraps!
